To all of you who participated in VIDFEST this year - THANK YOU! We are thrilled with the outcome. It was such a pleasure to meet everyone and to work with all of you to make this year happen.

After nearly a year of planning for this, the big day has arrived! Tonight is our opening reception and first screening - we're pretty stoked. And we got to share a sneak peak of one of our winning films on the Global News this morning which was great. There's also a fantastic article in the Vancouver Sun today on Disney's participation - check it out!
btw - in the sad case that you can not make the festivities, Bryght has kindly agreed to podcast some of the highlights for us!

i registered for Vidfest... now what?

Ok, so we admit, it hasn't been totally clear where one can pick up VIDFEST passes and tickets. Here's the scoop:
VVIP pass holders: Passes will be available for pick up at the Opening Reception (Emily Carr Institute - starts 5 pm tomorrow) and then again at the Creative Exchange registration desk on Thursday from 8 am onwards at Emily Carr.
Conference Only attendees: Passes can be picked up anytime after 8 am at Emily Carr on Thursday.
Gala ticket holders: If you have a VVIP pass, your Gala ticket can be found inside your name badge. If you are only attending the Gala, your name will be on the guest list at Radical. Doors open at 7:30 pm on Friday. (btw - there are still a few tickets left for those who need one!)
